Friday Gratitude

I am grateful…

"I was an accomplice in my own frustration." ~Peter Shaffer

Today finds me grateful for frustration. Yes, frustration serves a purpose. It prompts action. A call to make changes that smooth life’s difficulties rather than add to them. Even a small thing, like an empty toilet paper roll, happening often enough will build to a level of frustration that needs to be addressed with a simple solution of showing and telling the person that left it that way where there is easily obtained a replacement roll. See how positive action solves frustration? It’s the same across all levels of frustrations, from the mundane to the major. We need to focus on what we CAN do to make the situation better instead of the frustration itself. When we are unable to find a course of action on our own is when we turn to others for their insights and help. Sometimes that “other” is faith. So whenever you face a frustration take action even if that action is letting go and letting God/Goddess handle it.

Sharing your frustration and solution here is helpful to others as well. You have always been a “take charge” person, not to let circumstances overcome you. I love you.
